All 'Delightful Upcycling' light creations have been rigorously tested to National safety standards for 'Test and Tagged' items. These tests have been carried out by a trained, certified and nationally accredited Test and Tag individual, on a current and calibrated Seaward portable appliance tester. If a 'creation' (hanging light) requires 'hard wiring', this must be carried out by a licensed electrician. These 'creations' have not been inspected by an electrical engineer. They are not Nationally Certified nor are they labelled as 'safe'. It is an offence for a person to attach to a second-hand electrical article (with antique and vintage fixtures), a label containing a statement about the safety of that article. If you are at all concerned about the safety of a 'Delightful Upcycling' creations, upon purchase, have it checked by an electrical engineer, the same as you would for any item purchased from an antique dealer, vintage shop or in a second hand market.
